Since we launched the Primo Compact in March, the uptake on this new machine can only be described as sensational.
With dozens of demos carried out up and down the UK, our Technical Manager Steve Naylor reports that he’s yet to demonstrate this machine without it resulting in an order!
The aesthetic and build quality of the Primo Compact is highly appealing and the Compact size makes it an easy sell into offices and bars where counter space is an issue.

GOOD SHOW, OLD BEAN
Since launch, we have taken the Primo Compact to two exhibitions. In April we exhibited at Vendex Midlands, with the Compact as the focus of the Westomatic stand. With orders being placed on the day and many more being placed off the back of the show, Vendex proved to us that there was a large appetite for the product.
In may we booked a stand at the European Coffee Expo in London, at which we purely demonstrated the Primo range of machines, with Compact leading the charge. The fresh milk capabilities of the machines went over very well, with interest coming from all quarters of the coffee industry.
KEEPING UP WITH DEMAND
The volume of orders has been startling and we have just about been able to keep up! Currently our lead times are around 6-7 weeks, but will be improving over the coming month.
Build time is picking up and lead times are decreasing. In fact, we expect that by mid-July, a prompt, standard lead time will be in place for all Primo Compact Orders.
